Getting from the Airport to the City Centre
On arrival at Fiumicino you will be met by a Chauffer as outlined in your chosen Wedding Package. The driver will bring you directly to your hotel. This is a stress free option for bridal party as it can prove difficult to manage luggage to include Wedding Dress and suits etc.
You may however wish to make your own way into the city. The following advice would also be useful for your guests.
Hotel Shuttle Service: Many hotels offer a pick up service. Contact your hotel concierge by phone or email to arrange collection from the airport.
Buses: There is a direct bus service aimed to coincide with flights, which connects Ciampino with Termini station in the centre of Rome. Tickets can be bought inside the airport t but it is worth pre-booking with Terravision online to avail of discounts
Trains: The easiest way to get into the city from Fiumicino is the Express Train which runs directly into Termini station. The train is signposted from inside the arrival terminal. The service runs every 30 minutes usually between 6.30 am and 11.30 pm.
Taxis are widely available outside Termini Station to take you to your hotel.
Taxis: If you would prefer a door to door service, a taxi is a good option. Only choose an official marked taxi from the rank. These are white with ‘taxi’ lights in top and each cab has a license number. From Oct 2006, a set price for taxis between Rome and its two airports has been fixed. Agree the price prior to getting into the taxi. From Ciampino Airport into central Rome, a taxi ride should cost no more than €65. This price includes passengers and luggage. From Fiumicino into central Rome it should cost no more than €75.
