Arriving in Rome

Rome has two airports: Fiumicino (Leonardo Da Vinci) and Ciampino. Fiumicino is the largest of the two located around 22 miles (36km) south west of the city. This airport has traditionally been Rome’s gateway for travellers for the past four decades. Aer Lingus flies directly from Dublin.

Ciampino Airport is a smaller airport about 10 miles (16km) from the city centre. Although it has fewer facilites, there are ATM’s, foreign currency exchange, public phones and rest rooms. Ryan Air flies to Ciampino direct from Dublin.

Be sure to contact Airlines well in advance regarding carrying on your Wedding Dress and suits etc.
